i've waited for a bit, and could still stop at any point, but i've now had a consistent pattern of contractions for almost 4 hours. i think it's officially safe to say i'm in labour. however, they're not close enough to write home about (but painful enough to know that something is different) so i'm not expecting a baby anytime soon, but hopefully i'll be holding livie in my arms this time tomorrow.

in the meantime, i'm all weepy when it comes to saying goodnight to lyla. it may be her last night as my only little girl. bittersweet.
