...today, while eating fish sticks and cheese, lyla discovered the joys of painting with ketchup.

who would have thought that lunch time could be so much fun!lyla is also learning her very first Bible verse. since she loves to copy most words i say, i thought it might be a great opportunity for her to copy positive and life giving words. this is what she has learned so far:
"trust in the Lord with all your heart..." proverbs 3:5a
now at random times, she walks around the house yelling "trust in..." then looks at me expectantly so we can finish saying the rest of it together.
it's also a good reminder when i start to get anxious about everything that needs to get done...
