almost 2 years ago, he was small enough to cradle  in one arm,

his head tucked beneath my chin and his tiny bottom nestled in the crook of my elbow.

because he slept well...

and because this picture still makes me smile and cry all at the same time.

and because i love him more now than i ever dreamed i could then...
