i guess that will come in handy the older my babies get, because i really have never cared for pie in the first place. unless it's chocolate. or cherry. or peach. or pecan. okay...if someone is offering a pie that is filled with something other then apples, i probably won't "promptly" announce that i never cared for pie...i may pause and then announce. however, i think the sentiment is sweet and the kind of selfless mom i hope to become. it just seems to be that pesky human element that gets in the way every once in a while:).
